Welcome to the website of Croydon Rifle & Pistol Club. We've been located here in Jessops Way, Croydon since 1962 when we moved from the site of, what would turn out to be in the future, the Fairfield Halls in Croydon town centre.

I'm sorry to announce that due to being inundated with interested people -a situation that we've never had before,  we've had to suspend our membership entry procedure until July 2023 to enable us to clear the backlog of probationers. In the meantime, if you are still interested in applying for membership, please contact me using the information on the 'Contact Us' page and I'll keep a record of your email to be ready to send out invitations in July 2023. You may still visit the range to view our facilities but we won't be taking any applications.

Our club reception is here & we are close to road, bus & the Beddington Lane Tram stop for easy access from central Croydon & Wimbledon. We also have lots of on and off road free parking.

At our Croydon range, we're Home Office Licenced to shoot .22LR small-bore rifles up to 100 yards  and on our 25 metre gallery rifle and black powder range, various calibres up to .455 Webley".
The 20, 25, 50, 100 yard and the two 25 metre ranges have all-weather capability and the two indoor air weapon 10 metre and the 25 yard small-bore ranges are heated. So our one club has most of the facilities for shooting competitions that you would ever need, all in one place, with no range fees.

We have regular visits throughout the year to the National Shooting Centre at Bisley using 7.62mm NATO calibre full-bore rifles, shooting from 200 to 1,000 yards.

We also shoot gallery & sporting rifle there at 200 yards  for pistol calibre rifles (such as the Winchester) as well as our vintage .303 Lee-Enfields and the Martini-Henry.

Please arrange with our Secretary before turning up at the club -just so that we can make sure someone will be there to show you around.

Would all prospective members please note that modern handguns have been banned since 1997 & cannot be shot in the UK and would all interested parties please read the FAQ page before emailing us.

Also our phone isn't working at the moment so please email me at Secretary@croydonrifleandpistolclub.co.uk and I'll try to reply asap.
Our opening times are;

Tuesday  (for rifle)                 19:00 - 22:00
